Joining the waiting list
We collect your email address, the time and version of the consent you give, and your confirmation and unsubscribe status. We use these to verify your address, send a thank-you message and tell you when BONCE launches, including details of the launch offer. We rely on your consent for launch marketing. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
We do not ask for an Apple Account password, payment details or your date of birth. Joining the list does not buy or pre-order the app. Please use your own email address; children should ask an adult to sign up for launch news.
Security and service providers
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare, with Cloudflare D1 storing the waiting list and Resend delivering its emails. Email addresses are encrypted before being stored in our database. Only the server and authorised administrators can decrypt them. No public list of subscribers is available.
We use short-lived confirmation links and rate limits to protect signups. A temporary keyed identifier derived from the requesting IP address helps limit repeated requests; our waiting-list database does not store the raw IP address. Hosting and email providers also process ordinary request and delivery information, including IP addresses, recipient addresses and delivery events, to operate and secure their services.
How long we keep it
Unconfirmed signups older than seven days are eligible for deletion. The signup service removes old records in small batches as new requests arrive; this is not a guarantee of deletion at an exact time. On unsubscribe, the service removes the readable email address from its subscriber record and keeps a keyed email identifier and consent record to recognise and respect your choice.
The intended launch-list retention is no more than 90 days after launch, unless you separately choose to stay in touch or a legal obligation requires specific information to be retained. The operator must complete the post-launch deletion; it is not yet a scheduled automatic process. Provider delivery logs and backups follow their own agreed retention settings.
Cookies, tracking and fonts
This page does not include advertising trackers or analytics, and its fonts are hosted with the site. Our signup flow does not use marketing cookies. The hosting platform may process technical information needed for security and access.
When you contact support
We receive the email address, message and attachments you send. Our support mailbox forwards through Porkbun to AgentMail; an authorised AI assistant may help organise and draft replies. Send only what is needed to answer your question. Support messages are handled to answer requests and maintain the service, based on our legitimate interests.
International processing and your rights
Our hosting and email providers may process information outside the UK. Contact support@bonce.app for information about the providers, applicable transfer safeguards or a copy of the relevant terms.
You can ask for access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent, and ask about restriction or portability where applicable. Email support@bonce.app. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
The iPhone app
This website notice does not replace the final app privacy policy. App payments are processed by Apple. A verified release-specific app policy is required before App Store submission.
